How can they be soldiers if they haven't finished their classes yet? Does the queen just take new students, send them into battle, and hope for the best?

Not only that: It may be necessary. Sending soldiers with little training into battle isn't ideal, but it may be better than alternative - like losing the battle and the school being attacked directly.

However, I think that the "blood sharing" will either a) need some time so they won't go to battle immediately or b) magically transfer experience or something or c) both.

So, our heroine will blood bond with all 100 applicants, making the comic very hard to draw.

Ooooh a new twisty factor! :D I love a mage-knight pair combo and I can't wait to see how the bonding works and what sharing blood means magically.
